Getting Started with Amazon FreeRTOS
Using FreeRTOS on an MCU and need to get up to speed in days vs weeks? Learn how to use Amazon’s version of the most popular open source operating system for microcontrollers to create small, low-power applications to connect securely to Amazon’s cloud services.
This workshop will start with the installation process, then get you up to speed on TI’s development environment (CCS, software libraries) and then walk you through all of the fundamentals of FreeRTOS required to build any application—pre-emptive scheduling, task priorities, queues, signaling, semaphores, mutexes, software timers, and event groups.
As always, this workshop will include hands-on labs to ensure proper skills transfer.
